Clean Up Australia Day Sites 2008
Clean Up Australia Day Sunday 2nd March sites will be Starting at 10am and Finish at 12.00pm.All sites will be attended by council Staff who will direct the mornings proceedings. All participants will need to register onsite that morning before getting started. Clean up bags will be provided but suggest people wear appropriate clothing and bring gloves. Plenty River,Greensborough Park, Greensborough. Melways Map: Map 20 K1 Enter off Main St, Greensborough. Site registration next to tennis club Drive around service road next to oval.
Plenty River, Montmorency Park, Montmorency. Melways Map: 21 B5 Enter off Para Rd , site registration at end of carpark, Close to River.
Yarra River,Wilson Reserve, Ivanhoe. Melways Map: 31 G10 End of Irvine Rd, Ivanhoe. Site registration in reserve Carpark.
Salt Creek,Rosanna Parklands, Rosanna. Melways Map: 20 A12 Enter off Lower Plenty Rd, (just after the rail crossing on the left hand side) Site registration inside reserve entrance next to path.
Darebin Creek, Heidelberg West. Melways Map: 19 D12 Site Entrance off Southern Road, Heidelberg West (Car parking also available at Sth East corner of Northlands Shopping centre carpark, cross Southern rd at intersection and head East to Darebin Creek entrance.)
