The Darebin Parklands is a 37 hectare bushland reserve on the Alphington-Ivanhoe border only 7km from the Melbourne CBD.
The park is managed by the Darebin Creek Management Committee of which the Cities of Darebin and Banyule are members. The park has a full time Ranger coordinating an Education Centre.
Features of the park include natural rock faces, wetlands, historic olive trees, Spiritual Healing Trail and large areas of bushland. Recreational activities include bike riding, dog walking (including off-lead areas). Toilets, picnic tables and free electric barbecue facilities are available near the Separation St, entrance
The Darebin Creek Trail runs through the centre of the park and provides a shared trail to Bundoora Park 10km to the north.
Visitor access to the park is either via Separation or Smith Sts. Alphington, or from Rockbeare Grove, Ivanhoe.
