This listing has been compiled as at June 2004, from data obtained from "War Memorials of Victoria" (1994) and gathered from various sources since then. All sites have been visited except those printed in blue. Consequently, information shown can be obsolete and incomplete. Unknown memorials may exist, that were established before 1994, and others unknown have been erected since then. Most Avenues of Honour, which are in good condition, have been shown, but others exist which have not been positively identified. Monuments are sometimes moved from original locations and new memorials continue to be erected. Information in regard to such events, and any errors and omissions, would be appreciated.
